Ofcom are consulting on their approval of the new PSA 15th Code of Practice. We believe that this consultation represents an opportunity to highlight to Ofcom the inadequacies of the current regulatory framework.
We have drafted a response to this consultation which we will be submitting to Ofcom in advance of the 11th June deadline. We’d welcome consumer comments of this response, and would also encourage consumers to submit their own responses to this consultation.
We believe that it is time to insist that the Mobile Network Operators take much more responsibility for preventing consumer harm from Phone-paid Services, and live up the their previous promises to help resolve consumer issues with them.
